ART ASK

ART ASK is an authorial research and educational initiative, as well as an approach to art education developed as a critical, process-based, and relational practice. The project operates at the intersection of art, education, and research, treating learning as a dynamic process grounded in dialogue, shared responsibility, and the continuous practice of asking questions.

ART ASK emerged from the need to challenge rigid models of art education that fail to address the challenges of our time — the climate crisis, the widespread mental health crisis, social conflicts, and the overproduction of images and information.

At the heart of the project lies the conviction that art education can and should serve as a tool for critical thinking, cultivating sensitivity, and fostering responsible action in the world.

The initiative develops through conversations, activities, and practices — PODCAST, ART ASK LAB, WORKSHOPS, as well as COLLABORATIONS with cultural institutions, schools, and independent initiatives.

ART ASK functions as a space for experimentation and knowledge exchange, where theory and practice remain in constant dialogue, and the process is valued over ready-made solutions. The project aims to create and promote alternative models of art education — more relational, inclusive, and aware of their social and ecological responsibility — inviting participants to jointly explore, test, and redefine what art education can be today and in the future.
